Butterflies

We watched our 5 caterpillars turn into chrysalises, then hatch into painted lady butterflies! It was so exciting! 

 

 

 

Then it was time to let them go.

 

 

 

 

Only 1 flew away!

 

 

 

 

The rest didn't want to leave their safe home. So we put them and their safe home in the green house. They were warm in there. When they were ready, they flew away! We waved them goodbye!
