Legacy logs

The children and parents took these very seriously and could find evidence easily for keeping healthy (eg. we eat fresh fruit every morning break in Class 1 and we went swimming for the 2 Summer terms), taking part in competitions(we'd just had sport's day and taken part in the multi-skills festival). All children were either silver or gold winners! Some entries came in on the last day of term, so I'm sure there'll be more!

French - Le francais!

On Tuesday afternoon, 2nd. July, Mathilde, Miss. Chambon, before helping Class 1 with ICT, as she has done every Tuesday afternoon this year, did some French with us! We showed her how we can say Bonjour and Ca va? We counted to 10, said some colours in French and we sang 2 French songs! We also told her the names of animals that Mademoiselle Banfield had taught us.

Oh la, la!!

Then Miss. Chambon spoke a little to us in French and showed us on a map of France, where she lives. We asked lots of questions and loved learning a little more about France from this lovely French person! We think that we in Class 1, would like to have hot chocolate and pain au chocolat for breakfast! We would like to take a couple of hours enjoying our dinner and have more time to relax and talk to people.

Thank you Mademoiselle Chambon for all your help with ICT this year. Bonne chance at Uni. We will miss you very much!

Merci beaucoup Mathilde!
