Easter

Class 1 has really been busy this week:

making hot cross buns,

Easter nests,

Easter cards,

and Easter baskets for the competition.

We enjoyed taking part in the Easter Church Service too.

We said an Easter acrostic.

Oops! Turn the E round quick!

We also sang In a Cottage in the Wood, about a rabbit.

Hope he comes to visit us on Easter Sunday.

Seder meal

In RE we have been learning about Judaism. 

We had a Seder meal, to understand what foods Jewish people eat at their Passover Meal and why.

Some of us enjoyed tasting new foods.

 Some of us didn't!

The Racy Rays were the best. They polished off the lot!

Mothering Sunday

We've been busy making things to spoil our Mums.

We made crispie cakes with toffee, marshmallows and chocolate. Yum!

We made beautiful cards.

World Book Day 

It was World Book Day on Thursday. Some children brought in their favourite book to share with us. Well done!
