Maths Week!

 

 



The last week of Term 5 was Maths Week and what a week it was!

 

On Monday we baked biscuits with Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Knott, measuring our ingredients really carefully!

 

We put them in these boxes, made by Mrs. Barnes.

 

On Tuesday, Mr. Happy Puzzle Man visited us. We had to sit up straight, give a cheesy smile and work as a team! 

 

 

 

 

Will we ever be able to put this together properly?

 

 

Of course we can! Phew!!

 

 

On Wednesday, we went shopping at Asda to spend £1 and to count it out exactly.

 

 

 

 

 

Gary showed us how bread is made and Mauricia showed us all the different kinds of bread that you can buy in Asda. Amazing!

 

On Thursday we played Maths games with friends from Class 3 and 2 and with Mums, Dads, Grandmas and Theo!

 

 

 

 

On Friday, we played the Crystal Maze! Again, we had to talk through the problem and work as a team to solve it. What fun!

 

 

Miss. Banfield put our Maths in Art pictures up in the hall to make an excellent

display! Mrs. Ballaam cut out all the shapes for us.

 

 

We used Maths to add up our scores in PE, with Mrs. Foister and Miss. Durham and we played Bingo, but haven't got photos unfortunately.

 

We'll remember this Maths Week forever!!
