World Book Day

We had such fun in Class 1 today! We dressed up as a book or film character. We spent the morning with our houses. Our House Captains, Vice Captains and the other big ones looked after us and we did fun activities, like decorating biscuits and cakes, colouring, making book marks, taking part in quizes. A big thank you to all our captains who worked so hard to make today such a great day!

Spring 3 Week 3 2014.

We've been busy in Class 1 this week!

Josef and Dean have completed work in their Challenge Books on the three bear's chairs and beds. They made them out of lego and found the difference of bricks between them.

YR have been working on doubles. They used numicon, fingers and their good brains to work out prices in the double price sale. They're not going there again! Too expensive!!

YR have also been composing their own songs and playing them!

YR and Y1 have worked with pastels. They rubbed in the colours of their irises beautifully.

Wow, I wonder what next week will bring!

Class 1's Christmas Party.

First of all we got changed into our party clothes. Then we had a yummy feast of all the food we had brought in and shared.

Next, a very special person came to visit us. He told us that we had to be good or he would not come down our chimneys on Christmas Eve!

After that we played games and had great fun.

Finally we went home exhausted, but so happy. We wish it could be Christmas everyday!!
